Enjoy Championship golf at its finest in beautiful, tranquil Fall River Valley. This course is frequently rated one of the top golf courses in Northern California,
with gently rolling hills, beautiful lakes, mature trees, abundant wildlife and a friendly atmosphere.
This superb, 18-hole championship golf course plays
from 6200 to 7300 yards. Facilities include an informal restaurant, club house,
pro shop, practice driving range and putting green. The emphasis at Fall River
Golf Course is to provide a breath of fresh air for the crowd-weary golfer and
a restful spot to test your competitive edge at any level. The course is
extremely popular and it is wise to reserve tee times two weeks in advance.

Fishing & Hunting in the Intermountain Area...

Fall River, Pit River and Hat Creek are all spring fed waters  with conditions
that provide some of the best fishing in
Northern California. Guide service
is available, for fisherman learning to fly fish or just wanting to find the big fish
.

We love to hear the fish tales at the end of the day over a brew!

The Intermountain Area is world renown for its numerous blue ribbon fishing streams and rivers. Fall River, Pit River and Hat Creek are all clear, spring fed waters with consistent cold water temperatures. These conditions help provide some of the best fishing in the west. The Forest Service offers six campgrounds that are located adjacent to Hat Creek.

Lake Britton, Eastman Lake, Fall River, Baum Lake, Crystal Lake and Iron Canyon Reservoir are a lure to all types of fishermen. Within a short drive to the northeast, fishermen will find other "hot spots" on Bear Creek, Medicine Lake and McCloud River.

Biking

The Burney Falls Area of Northern California is an untapped mountain bicyclist's heaven with literally hundreds of miles of trails and roadways.  For instance, there's a fifty mile ride from Burney to McCloud that
includes sights of two volcanoes, the Trinity Alps and Castle Crags. Many of the routes that are popular average 3500 ft in elevation. Prepare yourself for some of the best cycling ever!

Hiking

Pacific Crest Trail runs through the heart of this area.  On this trail hikers can
enjoy scenic vistas of Lassen Park, Hat Creek Valley, and Mt Shasta.  Lake
Britton and Burney Falls  have great trails for day hikes.  Along any waterway
you will find grand hiking trails.
With a variety of wildlife  to observe,  hiking is even more enjoyable.
